About this Event:
This session will present an overview of new withdrawal management recommendations and a practical 'how-to' manual, produced by and for Nurse Practitioners. We will review the basics of opioid, alcohol, stimulant, cannabis, and nicotine withdrawal management, and how these new resources can be used in any service setting. Finally, we will highlight existing resources for Nurse Practitioners to connect with local, provincial, and national supports for withdrawal and other substance-related care.
