About this Event:

The webinar will provide overview of up-to-date, evidence-based practice, education, organization, policy and system level recommendations and supporting tools and resources that can be used to identify, assess and support people who use substances. This hour- long webinar is intended for nurses, health-care providers and individuals interested across the continuum of care who wish to enhance their knowledge on substance use.

Session objectives

During this presentation, participants will learn how to:

  1. Describe components of guideline development process
  2. Highlight ‘main themes’ of guideline recommendations
  3. Describe implementation supports and the Mental Health and Addictions Initiative
  4. Share lessons learned and areas for future research
