AGM 2019 Highlights

RNAO's 94th Annual General Meeting took place April 11-13, 2019. The AGM provides RNAO members with direct access to the association that represents their interests, and gives them a chance to help direct the future of RNAO.

The AGM opened with speakers from four political parties, who commented on the state of health care in Ontario.
Members and guests attending this year's AGM also welcomed 19 health organizations as newly designated Best Practice Spotlight Organizations (BPSO).

We also celebrated our nursing colleagues with the annual Recognition Awards, and excellence in health reporting was highlighted with the annual Media Awards.

The key note presentation was given by Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Helen Angus.

Many of the events were broadcast live. For those of you who couldn't attend, we have provided highlights of these recorded sessions on our YouTube channel, as well as a few quick links below.
