About this BPSO:

Nipissing University’s School of Nursing was founded in 2005. Today, the School has four distinct Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programs: a) the Collaborative BScN program; b) an on-campus Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to BScN bridging program; c) an online RPN to BScN Blended Learning program; and d) the Scholar-Practitioner Accelerated Program. Overall, there are over 1,700 undergraduate nursing students across all programs. The Dean is the head of the School of Nursing, currently under the Faculty of Applied Professional Studies and home to three other schools: a) Business, b) Criminology and Criminal Justice, and c) Human and Social Development. The Director of Nursing provides the academic leadership and works with the Dean to effectuate orderly and efficient operation of the School and its programs. There are over 20 Full-Time faculty, three Program Managers, and eight support/administrative staff.
