CNA’s annual meeting was held in Vancouver on Monday, June 18, 2012, in conjunction with the CNA Biennial Convention. The meeting was held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and was open to all members and other interested parties.

The resolutions were voted on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 15:30 - 16:30. The RNAO resolutions below were accepted by the membership at the CNA annual general meeting. Review CNA's 2012 Resolutions and Motions from the Floor.

1. Expanding the Scope of Practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)

2. Maximizing the Role of the Primary Care Nurse

3. Advocate reduction of the jobs deficit as a Federal, Provincial and Territorial Policy Priority

4. Improve Access to Suboxone Treatment for Nishnawbe Aski Nation and other First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities

5. The Role of Public Health Nurses in Schools: A Research and Policy Analysis

6. Reject Dangerous Cuts to Refugee Health Care

7. Improving Health and Health Care in Correctional Facilities
