Paid sick days for a healthier Ontario

On February 3, an opinion piece published in the Hamilton Spectator by RNAO called for changes in policy that will allow all Ontarians to take paid sick leave from work. This is important because the workplace context is changing in Ontario and precarious employment is skyrocketing. The government is in the midst of reviewing employment and labour laws so now is the perfect time to speak up for the health of all Ontarians. For a fairer and healthier province, all employees should have paid sick days. For a full-time worker, this would mean seven paid sick days per year.
