RNAO's board and assembly take their voices to Queen's Park Feb. 27
RNAO's Queen's Park Day will be held Thursday, Feb. 27. We look forward to having our 120 Board of Directors and Assembly leaders engage with their MPPs and influence healthy public policy.
Our 14th Queen's Park Day will begin with a breakfast meeting with about 80 MPPs in the Legislative Dining Room. Next, RNs will attend Question Period from the public galleries. Following lunch, members will meet separately with leaders of the three major political parties, including Premier Kathleen Wynne, Minister of Health Deb Matthews, PC Leader Tim Hudak, PC Health Critic Christine Elliott, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath and NDP Health Critic France Gélinas.
The day will also include a tour of the building and a presentation by the Procedural Services Branch about parliamentary procedures and how Queen's Park committees work.
