RNAO recognizes World Elder Abuse Awareness Day June 15
On June 15, the world will come together to stand up for our older population. World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is an opportunity for individuals, communities, organizations and governments to raise awareness about elder abuse, highlight the need for appropriate action, and advance prevention efforts.
Many different events are being held across the globe to recognize WEAAD. For more information, ideas and resources, visit the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA) website or connect with a network in your region.
