Nursing Week 2012
During National Nursing Week, nurses from across the country celebrate the work they do to keep Florence Nightingale’s work alive by advocating for policies that keep people healthy, and care for them when they’re ill.
Again this year, RNs and political leaders will switch it up. Instead of heading to Queen's Park - nurses will invite MPPs to spend a shift with them. Elected leaders will shadow RNs in all settings.
Politicians will have an opportunity to see first-hand the impact nurses make in patients' lives, and the value they bring to the health-care system. Take your MPP to work.
