RNAO available to comment on the outcome of the Council of the Federation meeting
NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, July 29, 2004 - The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) will be available in Niagara-on-the-Lake to comment on the outcome of the Council of the Federation’s strategic planning meeting.
RNAO’s key recommendation is to attach conditionality and accountability to new federal funding. The association is also looking for the premiers to commit to expanding publicly funded, not-for-profit health care, put the privatization ghosts to rest once and for all, and strengthen the nursing profession.
