A five-part webinar series designed for nurses and other health-care professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills when engaging with persons and families who use substances. This comprehensive webinar series on substance use will increase capacity among nurses and other health-care providers across the continuum of care to facilitate evidence-based, high quality care for persons and their families experiencing substance use issues.

Module 4 Objectives

  • Articulate the foundational principles and evidence that supports harm reduction approaches
  • Describe the successes and challenges of using a harm reduction approach in a variety of settings
  • Apply harm reduction approaches in a practice setting
