- Enhance full scope of practice utilization by supporting primary care nurses to regain/develop confidence in their competencies, knowledge and skills, using the Primary Care Nurse Task Force role descriptions/recommendations as a guide
- Equip primary care nurses with the tools, resources and supports required to care for the highly complex health/social needs of Ontarians within primary care
- Provide opportunities for exploration, discussion and application of primary health care nursing knowledge and expertise in the context of the Ontario health system
- Incorporate a rural/remote focus as a component of primary care as relevant
Institute fee covers accommodations for the week, meals (with the exception of one dinner) and materials.
Funding available for Smoking Cessation Champions
The RNAO is delighted to offer a funding opportunity to all RNs, NPs, and RPNs who have attended a Smoking Cessation Champions or Best Practice Champions for a Smoke-Free Pregnancy Workshop in the past.
Limited spaces are available. Funding extends to the costs of tuition for this program and includes workshop materials, accommodations, and all meals for the duration of the Institute with the exception of one dinner.
All other expenses and travel are not covered in this sponsorship opportunity.
