Join us Thursday for our Stakeholder Reception and Opening Ceremonies.
Be sure to join us on Saturday for the various interest groups meetings and the closing keynote presentation. This year's event will feature a panel of guests discussing the federal government's new assisted dying law and how it affects your nursing practice.
The panel will be moderated by Globe and Mail columnist Andre Picard and includes:
- Dr. Dirk Huyer, Chief Coroner for Ontario
- Sally Bean, Ethics Centre and Policy Advisor at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
- Dr. Deborah Bournes, Chief Nursing Executive and Vice-President of Clinical Programs at The Ottawa Hospital
- Maureen Taylor, Physician Assistant and the widow of Dr. Don Low, who advocated for the right to take his own life while battling a terminal illness.
*Please note a change in the lineup from previous AGMs for Thursday evening. The opening ceremonies will begin at 6:10 p.m. and will be followed by a wine and cheese reception at 8:30 p.m.
One member, one vote
