Mentors are a key component to the success of the ACPF initiative. Their insight into the overall impact of the initiative is critical, and many talk about the personal satisfaction they get from facilitating the development of skills and expertise in their fellow nurses. They also reflect on the benefit to them - the learning they had as a result of their mentoring experience.
RNAO maintains a list of individual nurses who have expressed an interest in being a mentor. These nurses cover a wide range of specialties, and all have indicated their availability to participate in this project. Many are nurses who have previously acted as mentors for the ACPF, while others have not participated in the project before.
If you are a masters-prepared nurse and would like to join our list of available mentors, please submit a Professional Resource Directory Form (below). Your information will only be shared with potential fellows who are looking for a mentor in a specific practice specialty.
If you are a masters-prepared nurse with experience in guideline implementation and development please submit a BPG Professional Resource Directory Form (below).
Note: You do NOT have to be masters-prepared to qualify to be a member of a Mentoring Team, only primary mentor.
