Rignam Wangkhang is a Tibetan-Canadian multimedia journalist and producer. His writing, photography and radio work focuses on the intersection of politics and migration. Rignam's work has been featured in the Globe and Mail, TVO, AJ+, OZY Magazine and the Toronto Star, and he is currently on the production team with The Current on CBC Radio One. Prior to joining the CBC, he consulted on refugee status determination for the United Nations Refugee Agency in New Delhi, India. Born in the small town of Belleville, Rignam completed his undergraduate degree in political studies at Queen's University.
